Introduction
Financial Institutions, government offices and corporations that need to keep information safe, authenticating transactions, documents and users of their information systems now have the ideal solution at their hands.
Clavitex is a revolutionary security device that implements the Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) hole of secure private key holder. It generates, stores and manages private and public keys, certificate requests and certificate chains in a innovative, secure and hassle-free way.
This patent pending technology also allows Clavitex to operate without any privileges (Administrator Passwords or others) in the host computer, making it possible for users to operate the device on public and shared computers with the same level of security than when it is used in a corporate network. This technology also makes its deployment within a company or to external users very easy, plug-and-use, without any sort of hassle. This allows the deployment of public key applications with unprecedent smoothness and easiness, eliminating the inconveniences generally associated with these operations.
Besides remote authentication and signing transactions and documents, Clavitex can also be used to protect informations in media such as hard drives, email and files, providing strong cryptography and identity authentication. Other applications include Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), secure network logins, single sign-on and authentication in internal systems.
